WHY BLOGGING IS AN IMPORTANT NEW FORM OF MEDIA

Blogging is an exciting and productive network where people can publish and validate their opinions. Most importantly blogging can be used as a learning tool as it can be an instrumental motivation to students and non-students to write more and feed their curiousity of the digital medium. A wide variety of information can be provided and stored faster. For those that have not been previously exposed to such technologies, blogging has become a channel in which they can voice their opinions without public scrutiny on what is or not appropriate. To be quite frank blogging is new to me, when not yet clued up, one can feel primitive. My concern though with these new form of media is that, yes it can be advantageous but to only those that have access to internet. Which means then that, in the South African context not many have access to internet.
